RSS

Today, I finally started using RSS feeds in Google Reader. Partly because all those blogs and other pages I frequent started to take up too many tabs in Firefox; and partly to get rid of some comments by some people.
Unfortunately, embracing a new technology is all good and well, but only if others provide the means to do so. I can only subscribe to RSS feeds if they are published somewhere. This blog, for instance, does have an RSS feed if I remember correctly, subscribing to it is somewhat more difficult (at least for an RSS noob like me). Where's Wally? or in this case, the feed link?

Click on the feed icon in the address bar of Firefox.

This should give you the option to subscribe to

Cool. I have http://www.planethofstede.be/atom.xml which is the feed I get when I click the RSS icon in the Firefox address bar...

Didn't know that blog had so many different entry points available ;-)

Thank you; that'll be the third button in FF I'll be using then (after 'Home' and 'New Tab').

It's become http://www.planethofstede.be/atom.xml BTW

@bert depends on whether you want only my blog entries or freyja's as well (which are even rarer than mine as you can see by visiting http://www.planethofstede.be/blog/kamlio/).

Om uwen blog toe te voegen aan mijn google reader, doe ik
-> selecteer url van blog
http://bertv.blogspot.com/
-> ga naar google reader
-> selecteer 'feed toevoegen'
-> paste de url : http://bertv.blogspot.com/
